No one is more disappointed than I am and I'm grateful to everyone who tweeted and posted on the Redbox Facebook pages, demanding the movie in their kiosks.
Hopefully one day, Redbox will stock LGBT films.
Onwards. Upwards. On to Netflix.
If you have a subscription to Netflix, PLEASE click HERE and add BIRTHDAY CAKE to your queue. In order for the movie to get picked up, there has to a demand and a certain number of requests. It's very simple. You just click that link and then click, ADD TO QUEUE. Two clicks. Two seconds.
At least Netflix HAS a history of supporting and stocking LGBT films. So with your support and "clicks," hopefully we will be on Netflix after our release on May 20, 2014.
Thank you for your support!
We will be playing this weekend in Macon, Georgia on Saturday and Sunday at the Macon Film Festival and on Sunday in Baltimore.

I spoke to a screenwriting class today at my old university. I watched THELMA & LOUISE 17 times here in 1993 instead of going to algebra (I cheated the entire quarter). And while I haven't used algebra in 20 years, I DID work for Callie Khouri on DIVINE SECRETS OF THE YA YA SISTERHOOD.
