We're doing a sequel!
BIRTHDAY CAKE!
Rib and Krissy are currently shooting a film called PARANORMAL EVENT and I'm in preproduction for PROJECT: PHOENIX and LIZARD PEOPLE, but early next year, we're going to shoot a sequel to our film GROOM'S CAKE, which will bring all of our original cast back for the first birthday party of our baby.
Spoiler alert: things don't go well.
We're going to do an indiegogo campaign to raise a few thousand dollars so we can PAY the cast and crew (and the cost of all of those festival submissions which are expensive and add up!). Nothing gigantic, but since GROOM'S CAKE is doing so well at the festivals, we thought, why not do a follow-up.
GROOM'S CAKE is set for Palm Springs next month and Washington DC in early November. And there's another city I can't announce yet... but I'm going to be there and I expect a lot of other people I know as well...
