My film HABEAS CORPUS is up for Best Drama (and Best Picture!) at the 48 Gurilla Film Festival next Tuesday, July 17th in Austin, Texas.  If you're in town, go check it out and cheer us on!   CLICK HERE to get tickets

Sadly, I will be on a plane bound for Philadelphia, so I won't be able to attend.

MEGA update!

Geez.  You would think I would remember this blog, right?

So let's start off with the last update.

GROOM'S CAKE

We won!  We won Best Comedy Short at the Fort Worth Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival and won Best Comedy Short at the Kansas City Gay and Lesbian Film Festival!  We played in the market at the Palm Springs International Shorts Festival, and according to the people in the market, we were one of the most requested short films!

We will play Q Fest in Philadelphia on July 18th at 5:00 PM (first drinks are on me!) and Cincinnati on July 21st.  If you live near there, PLEASE let me know!  I will be at both festivals.  IF you know people who live in the area, tell them they have free drinks on me.

THE PORN BRAT PACK

This is my Moby Dick.  We cut the budget.  Still looking for investors.  Been talking to investors.  I'm hoping we land four investors and can shoot later in the year.  The budget is now $450K.  If you know someone with money, please, let me know.

MORTIFIED

We had an amazing pitch at Universal and they gave us great notes.  I am trusting in the genius that is Sean Hayes, Todd Milliner, and Kiel Elliott.  We have movement that I shouldn't discuss on a blog.  I am very excited.

And completely obsessed with this.  I think this will be my next project in production because of the cast and the budget.  I can not WAIT to work with my buddy, Jesse Archer.  Really fun story.  My next festival film, for sure.
