T-Shirt Appreciation Day
I was forced to do my annual "clean out the closet" today and I decided I have to part with many of my cherished t-shirts. (And a suit I haven't worn since apparently 1995, as I found the wedding program for Jennifer and Greg Willits in my pocket.)
I came up with an idea.
I have a feeling I'm going to regret this, but it's worth a try.
MONDAY - October 22nd is going to be T-Shirt Appreciation Day. (It's not an offical holiday, I'm making it up. Banks can't close and the postmen still have to deliver. Schools are still in session. Let's not go crazy. This year at least.)
Between now and Sunday, send me (1) one single picture of you in your favorite t-shirt.
All photos must be received between NOW and Sunday, October 21st. (No pics after Sunday, sorry.)
Tell your friends - post to your blogs.
A few guidelines:
1) Please include the following info: NAME, OCCUPATION, LOCATION, and WHY THE SHIRT YOU ARE WEARING IS YOUR FAVORITE SHIRT (twenty words or less).
2) Please try to fill the image from the waist up. (In other words, you don't have to be Annie Lebowitz, but don't have three inches of dead space above your head.)
Think passport photo, only be sure the bottom of the frame is to the waist.
3) Try to keep a neutral background. Again, remember the focus of the photo is you wearing the t-shirt, not the other 23,000 people in Dodger's Stadium.
