12 of 12: Me - February
Bed - Woke up to an alien trying to claw its way out of my stomach. Seriously, NEVER felt pain like this in my stomach. Like I was being stabbed from the inside. Hoped it would go away.
My car - outside Starbucks. Stomach still feels like alien life-form will emerge at any moment. Drove to Griffith Park to help with water stops for AIDS Marathon Training People - never made it out of my car. Couldn't breathe. Contemplate going to hospital.
Back at home - searched the medicine cabinet for anything that looked like it would kill the alien/ demon growing in my stomach.
Found nothing.
Passed out on the couch, hoping alien would break free and mercifully kill me.
Hollywood United Methodist Church - and running late, due to passing out. Woke to find alien life form or demon had left. Relieved.
As soon as I got into the sanctuary - alien returned or woke up. I went to the bathroom, in hopes the alien/ demon inside would finally rip its way out of my stomach. It didn't. Decided to suffer through.
We learned today that Rev. Ed Hansen is retiring in June and Rev. Cathy Cooper Ledesma will be the new senior pastor - which is great news.
On my way to meet Summer for brunch.
On Fountain. (Which runs in between Sunset and Santa Monica Blvd. Legend says that when asked what is the best piece of advise she would give an actor, Bette Davis said, "Take Fountain." It's the quickest route way to get from Gower to West Hollywood.)
Hamburger Mary's.
Alien/ demon - mysteriously gone.
Joey and Summer. Under the new artwork.
Coffee with a friend.
Parking lot of City Hall in West Hollywood.
Traffic on Los Feliz Blvd.
Thirty minutes to go four miles.
My deck
On the phone with my niece, Tabitha, who told me all about learning about Zacchaeus climbing up in a tree today in church. When asked, "was he a wee little man" she screamed, "YES!"
She also said "Starbucks" without any prompting or threats of bodily harm. She's catching on. Though, it was said in a begrudging fashion.
Sunset from my deck.
This is my favorite time of day sitting on my deck.
Ralph's
Grocery Shopping (with camera phone... people tend to give you strange looks when you whip out a camera in line and shoot your groceries.)
My laptop
Working on my script "The Hollywood Sign."
